Cushty does not speak your trade — job types, prompts, lead sources and the booking reference your customers see are roofing's, and today they change by rebuilding the software rather than in a settings page. And Cushty holds sites, not plant. If your contracts are written against units rather than addresses, read the gaps before you read anything else on this page.

The reason your trade is not configured comes down to one piece of architecture: the trade's vocabulary is compiled into the software when it is built, so changing a job type or a label is a release rather than a setting. Work on moving that to something we can set per business is under way. We are not going to give you a date for it — we would be guessing, and you would be planning around our guess.
One thing to be plain about on cost: the implementation fee does not cover building a trade configuration. It is not in the fee, it cannot be added to the fee, and paying does not bring it forward — it is engineering work on the platform, not something somebody changes during onboarding. What the fee does cover, we will set out in writing before you pay anything.

Hold each maintenance contract as a recurring template — weekly through to annual. Visits generate themselves when they fall due, landing with the default team on the template. Booking confirmations can go to the customer by email — with a calendar invite attached — and by text where they've opted in.
Tenant or facilities manager reports a fault. The office raises it against the existing site — previous visits, photos and the site's access notes already on screen — and books it into the diary, with a warning if the engineer is on leave or already committed that day.
Multi-day commercial installs with several engineers on the same job. Photos, video and notes build up on the job record as the work goes. If the scope grows on site, the engineer flags a variation for the office to approve — and it carries through to the invoice.
