Who we are

Cushty Group Ltd ("Cushty", "we", "us" or "our") is registered in Scotland under company number SC887896. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number 00014001501.
We operate cushty.io, a cloud-based operations management platform for service businesses.

Account information: your name, email address, business name and phone number when you sign up or book a demo.
Usage data: how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used and timestamps.
Business data: information you and your team enter into Cushty, such as job records, client details, quotes and invoices.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers and cookies when you use our website or platform.

To provide, operate and maintain the Cushty platform and your account.
To send you service-related communications such as account confirmations and updates.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To improve and develop our service based on how it is used.
To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
To contact you about Cushty products and services where you have given consent or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.

Contract: processing is necessary to fulfil our contract with you and provide the Cushty service.
Legitimate interests: to improve our service, prevent fraud and communicate with you about relevant updates.
Legal obligation: where processing is required to comply with UK law.
Consent: where you have explicitly opted in, for example to receive marketing communications.

Active account data is retained for the duration of your subscription.
Following account cancellation, your data is deleted within 90 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Financial and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by HMRC.
Enquiry and contact form data is retained for up to 2 years.

Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Xero — if you enable the Xero integration. Xero’s privacy policy is available at xero.com/uk/legal/privacy.
Cloud infrastructure providers — we use UK and EU-based cloud hosting to store your data securely.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

Access: you have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification: you can ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure: you can ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.
Restriction: you can ask us to limit how we use your data.
Portability: you have the right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection: you can object to our processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests.
