We built this because growing businesses deserved better.

Most operations software is either built for enterprise — far too complicated — or it's a basic app that stops working the moment your business gets any real scale. Cushty exists in the gap between the two.

The story

The problem we kept seeing

Across service businesses — electrical contractors, maintenance companies, facilities managers, compliance assessors — we saw the same pattern over and over.

A business doing real, meaningful work. A team of good people. A decent client base. Real revenue. But underneath all of it, a system starting to buckle under the weight of growth.

Jobs tracked on whiteboards. Invoices sent late because someone had to manually chase the information. The business owner doing admin at 9pm because there was no other time. A team that couldn't see what the other half was doing. Good clients being let down not by the quality of the work, but by the admin around it.

The tools that existed were either too basic to actually help, or too complex and expensive for a 10–30 person operation to realistically implement.
