Anything that fits in a QR code: a URL, a phone number (tel:01413303333), an email, a vCard, a Wi-Fi config, or plain text.

Payment links on invoices and quotes — the customer scans, the payment page opens, no typing. Asset tags on equipment — scan to bring up the service history. Vehicle livery — a single code that funnels van traffic to your booking page. Site signage — quick access to safety info, contact details or check-in.
The technical bit most people miss: error correction. A QR code can survive being printed, scuffed, partly covered or rained on if it carries redundancy. Level M (~15%) is fine for clean print on a quote. Level H (~30%) is what you want on a van or anything outdoors. Higher error correction means a busier-looking code, but it still scans when half of it is mud.
