Portable Appliance Testing isn't strictly required by law for most UK businesses, but the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require employers to keep portable electrical equipment safe — and an inspection-and-test regime with documented labels is the standard way to demonstrate that you've taken reasonable steps.
The IET Code of Practice (5th edition) is the working standard. Labels don't have to follow a specific layout, but in practice the useful information is the same on every sheet: test date, next-test date, asset identifier, and the tester. Pass/fail is signalled by colour — green for pass, red for fail. That's what this generator produces.
