Cushty is month-to-month with no long contract. This page sets out how cancellation, billing and refunds work in plain English, so there are no surprises.
Anyone can sign up to portal.cushty.io and explore Cushty before paying anything. You only start being charged when you pick a plan and provision your dedicated environment. No card details are required to sign up to the portal.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance from the day you start a plan. Each new month begins on the same date — so a subscription started on the 14th of one month renews on the 14th of the next.
You can cancel any time from your account settings inside the portal, or by emailing info@cushty.io. There is no minimum term, no exit fee, and no cancellation form to fill in.
Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing month — you keep access to everything you've paid for. After that, your dedicated environment is paused and read-only access ends, but your data is retained so you can export it.
We don't pro-rate refunds for unused days in the current month by default — the simple month-to-month price reflects the cost of running a dedicated environment for that period. If you've been billed in error, or if a serious issue prevented you from using Cushty during a billing period, get in touch and we'll do what's fair.
We don't charge setup fees or onboarding fees. If a piece of bespoke work has been agreed and quoted separately (e.g. a custom integration), refund terms for that work are described in the relevant order or statement of work.
If a card payment fails we'll retry it automatically and email you. After a short grace period, the dedicated environment is paused until billing is restored. We won't terminate or delete your data without contacting you first.
If you think a charge is wrong, please email info@cushty.io before raising a chargeback. We can almost always resolve billing questions faster than a card issuer can.
Email info@cushty.io with your account email and the invoice number. We aim to respond within one working day and to resolve refund requests within five working days where the request is straightforward.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
Cancellation and refund questions are best handled directly. We're a small UK team and we read every email.
